It hits right above the knee. I have no concerns about light showing through the fabric. The fabric and details are forgiving and the ruching is exactly where it needs to be to minimize pudge. I am chubby. This dress does not make me feel chubby at ALL - it hides muffin top perfectly. SO cute! Buy it!
